Explain the Marbury vs. Madison Case
One of Adams’ midnight judges, William Marbury, never received his commission. He sued Sec. Of State James Madison to give him his papers. Chief Justice John Marshall presided. Marbury lost, but court ruled Judiciary Act of 1789 unconstitutional.
