A

It shows the total number of job descriptions broken down by:
1. Finalized - Jobs have been reviewed and approved
2. Pending - Jobs have yet to be reviewed or need review
3. In Review - the Job is in review waiting for approval

The ‘Tasks’ tab displays which in progress workflows are assigned to you and are awaiting your action.

a. The Job Management tab serves as the database to find all the jobs in your organization.

Right-click menu – Displays after selecting and right-clicking one or more jobs in the job data grid. It contains the following menu items:

Reapply Master Template

Delete Job Descriptions

Search and Filter Options – Displays the search, advanced search, and filter options. Also includes the show/hide active jobs toggle

Top Buttons – Displays the buttons to add a new job and perform workflow actions

Toolbar – Displays the Import, Export, and Archive buttons. Also, More menu to configure the display grid and data management

Right Pane – Displays tabs to perform additional tasks:

  1. Preview: Preview the job description
  2. Job Family: View where the job lies within the greater job family and the sub-function
  3. Archives: View the versions/updates of the job description. You can revert to any prior version.
  4. Parent-Child: If the job is a parent or child, you can see the relationship between the jobs in this tab.
  5. Employees: View the employees under the specified role.
  6. Multi-Language: View and download the job description in a different language.
  7. Managers: View the managers of the selected role.

What does the Job Families tab do?

A

The Job Families tab allows you to view all the current job families in the organization and view which individual jobs fall under a specific family.

You can edit families as a whole and also navigate to and edit the individual jobs through this tab.

What does the ‘My Job Tasks’ tab do?

A

The My Job Tasks tab allows you to see workflows for jobs that you are a part of. You can filter this by jobs/workflows that require your action and jobs that you had action but are still in workflow.

A

The Job Management tab has an additional feature to be able to edit the job properties. Job Library does not have this function.
