b. What are the benefits of implementing a career architecture/level support guide?
a. Job architecture is an organizational framework for understanding all the roles within a company, including what they bring to the table and where they fall within a job hierarchy.
b. With job architecture, you can collect the data and information necessary to clearly and uniformly define the different roles and levels within your organization, and then use those definitions to drive a variety of strategic decisions.

The Job Catalog Portal is where you can view the job roles (career paths) and their responsibilities (job descriptions).
a. What is the Language Debiasing feature?
b. What are the benefits of using the Debiasing feature?
a. The Language Debiasing Feature automatically flags biased language and recommends appropriate alternatives.

- Words and phrases that are not already included in the JDXpert proofreading tool can be manually added to match your company’s needs/preferences.
a. What are Parent/Child Job Descriptions?
b. What are the benefits of using the Parent/Child Job Description Feature?
a. The parent job description is the base-level job description from where many “child” jobs stem from. The child job inherits many of the same traits from the parent description, but may differ in other areas such as specialties, job duties, etc.
Very popular in healthcare settings and other large organizations where there are multiple levels of a specific job role (i.e. Registered Nurses, Accountants, etc.).
b. The benefits are:
- The shared traits from the parent role to be automatically populated when creating a child job description.
- This allows the user to capture the nuances of each child role.
a. What is a Skills-based Job Posting?
b. What are the benefits of using a Skills-based Job Posting?
a. A Skills-based Job Posting is a job description that heavily emphasizes the skills and competences required, preferable, and learnable in order to be successful at the role. This is in contrast to traditional job postings that focus more heavily on rigid educational, and industry-specific experience requirements.
b. The benefits of utilizing a Skills-based Job Posting is the widening of the talent pool. Focusing on competencies allows clients to identify individuals who may not have all the required skills but possess the potential to acquire them through training and development.

b. Employers can protect themselves from wage and hour lawsuits by requiring that employees acknowledge and sign-off on their job descriptions every year.
a. What is Multi-Language Support?
b. What are the features and benefits?
a. The multi-language support automatically translates existing JD’s into the desired target language.
b. Features/Benefits:
- Ability to provide job descriptions and employee acknowledgements in a multitude of languages. 40+ Languages are supported.
- Phrase Translation - the translator doesn’t do a word-by-word translation, but rather through the translation of specific words and phrases. This eliminates incorrect translations (i.e. Customer Success = Customer Success in German, not Kundenerfolg).
