Intelligence Update Brief - collate and present a 10 min brief in developing scenario under time constraints
Threat Brief - collate and present an 8 min brief in a threat system, usually an adversary aircraft and missile system
Mission Support Brief - provide bespoke intelligence briefing support to aircrew departing on operational sorties
What is the AWFC?
Air Fundamentals Warfare Course, the main theoretical points about combat and warfare from an Air perspective
ISR training?
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance training, Joint training day with RN Int Officers in basic principles of ISR
Land Intelligence course?
4 day serial on basic concerns and principles of Int support to land-based Ops
Open Source Intelligence Course
4 day course in how to search and use the internet effectively, safely and legally from an Int perspective
Ex PROMETHEUS DAWN
Final pass/fail exercise that tests all learned skills in a simulated Ops-room environment with 4 Sqn (2x Fast Jets, 2x Rotary), 1xFP, 1x Watchkeeper
