A

Pomino’s italian for little apple, and it’s a very cute wine region just east of rufina. Pomino Bianco from pinot bianco, chard, & trebbiano is replete with acacia, green apples, & peaches. Pomino Rosso is sangiovese blended with merlot &/or pinot noir. These sound delicious….It can also produce a vin santo

A

Dried or late harvest grapes are added to the end of fermentation, extending fermentation and introducing malolactic. The result is a richer, rounder wine with softer acids. Not a common technique but indicated on the bottle with Governo all’uso Toscano
