What are the six articles of faith?
Angels, Holy Books, Prophets, Oneness of God, Afterlife and Day of Judgement
What are the 5 roots of Usul-ad-Din?
Tawheed, Adalat, Imamat, Nubuwwat and Qiyammat.
What is the Akhirah?
The Akhirah is the afterlife after you have died. However, you go through the process of barzakh a waiting state.
What is Qiyammat?
Qiyammat is the Day of Judgement when the whole world will be destroyed and everyone will die at the sound of the trumpet that angel Israfil will blow.

What is Risalah?
Risalah is the message God sends through the Prophets, Holy Books and the Angels.
What is Al-Qadr?
Al-Qadr is pre-destination, fate God already knows what will happen.
What is different about the shahadah for Shia Muslims?
Shia Muslims include Ali in the shahadah whereas Sunni Muslims don’t. For example,
“There is no god besides Allah, and Muhammad (pbuh) is his messenger. And Ali is his successor.”
This is the shahadah for Shia Muslims.
What are some of the Qitab’s Allah has sent down (Holy Books)?
The Injil, Tawrat and the Qur’an.
Who was the successor after Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)?
Abu Bakr was the successor after Muhammad as he knew most about Islam and was the closest companion of the Prophet.
What is Adalat?
It is justice; God is just and fair on the Day of Judgement.
What is Imamat?
It is leadership, for example, Imams that lead the prayer at mosques.
What is Nubuwwat?
It is Prophethood; Allah sends Prophets to guide mankind.
What is Qiyammat?
Qiyammat is the Day of Judgement when we will be resurrected to determine if we go heaven or hell.
