Beneficent-God is all loving
Merciful-God forgives and shows compassion to humans even though he can punish

Imamate
Shi’a Muslims believe in the Imamate. There are 12 Imams in total. 12th Imam is being kept alive by Allah and in hiding until judgement day.

Immanent
God is in and involved with life on earth.
“He is closer to you than your jugular vein”
Transcendent
God is beyond and outside life on earth.

Justice and fairness

Life after death

Omnipotent
God is all powerful

Tawhid

Muhammad
Most important Prophet. Last Prophet. Had the Qur’an revealed to him on the night of power. Sunni believe Abu Bakr should of been the next leader (Muhammad’s best friend) . Shi’a believe Ali should of been the next leader (Muhammad’s cousin and son in law”

Adam
First man. First Prophet. Created by God from dust. God gave Adam understanding and the names of all things

Ibrahim
Asked to sacrifice his son Ishmael. Taught Tawhid. Fulfilled all commands given to him by God. Rebuilt the Kabah. Remembered on Hajj and Id-Ul-Adah.
