What is one Muslim belief about family in islam?
That children are a blessing from Allah.
What is the centre of life for a Muslim?
Family.
Whose is the centre of the house?
The mother.
Surah An-Nahl. (16:97)
“Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds.”
What is the role of the father?
It is to provide for his family by working. He must make sure his family follow Islam. As well as that he should love honour and respect his family.
What is the role of the children?
To respect and treat their parents and to never shout at them. They shouldn’t disobey their parents except when they order them to do something which Allah forbids.
4 stages of a Muslim marriage.
1) Meeting/introduction.
2) Arranging the mahr (dowry)
3) Nikkah (signing of the contract)
4) Walima (celebration of them both coming together.
What does Islam teach us about divorce?
Value family life very highly and if it can be saved it should.
-Last resort-when all attempts have failed.

Teleological argument
The desgin argument. The argument that the universe was designed by a creator (God).
Cosmological argument.
The first cause argument. The argument that everything has a first cause. Everything has a beginning.
