A monotheistic religion as they believe in only one God.
What do Christians believe god is?
Eternal unlike humans.
What does omniscient mean?
That God is All knowing.
What does Transcended mean?
God is outside the world, beyond everything and outside time.
What does immanence mean?
Belief God is closer to us than our heartbeat and is involved in this world.
What does benevolence mean?
That God is all loving.
What does omnipotent?
That God is all powerful.
What does incarnate mean?
That God is embodied in human form.

Believe God has provided salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus and believe they must practice salvation through works.

What is the holy trinity?
The holy trinity is God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit.

A sense of safety and protection

1) helps Christians to live in the way that God requires.

In what order did God create the world?
1) - light was created.
2)- The sky was created.
3) - dry land, seas, plants and trees were created.
4) - The Sun, Moon and stars were created.

Suffering caused by the actions of human beings
What is the problem of evil?
1) if God is omnibenevolent, then He would care enough to stop the suffering caused by evil, but He hasn’t so maybe He is not omnipotent.
What is the Irenaean theodicy?
1) God allows evil and suffering to exist
2) the world was deliberately created with both good and evil in order that humans would be able to choose and learn what is right and good.
3) through suffering we learn and develop spiritually.
4) God allows suffering because He wants our souls to develop.
5) as long as people are open to learning from their actions they can get to heaven.
