shi’a islam
believes that leadership of Islam should’ve passed directly from Muhammed to Ali. this is the smaller branch of islam
Why does Tawhid influence muslim’s
believing in one God is very important to muslims and its central to Islam, making it a monotheistic religion
what is a shirk
a terrible sin in Islam where someone says or acts as if allah isnt one

treating money as if it should be worshipped

worshipping multiple gods (openly denying that Allah is one)
how has tawhid influenced muslims
-muslims use of imagery
-most muslims forbid making images of him
what do muslims believe Allah is
-merciful, that he understands peoples sufferings and cares for them
-fairness and justice, he treats people equally and requires that they do the same to their fellow human beings
-omnipotent, he can do anything, demonstrated in his creation of the world

bring the word of God to the prophets or messengers of God. angels are a part of the unseen world, supernatural beings created by God from light
Nature of angels
-angels are made of light, by allah
-angels dont need to eat or sleep
-angels have no gender
-angels dont have free will
-angels continually worship allah

they recieve gods words dircetly from him and pass the on to the prophets of god

the arabic name for Gabriel, the archangel who brought God’s message to the prophets, particulary to Muhammed
