It is believed that the angel Gabriel spoke the literal word of God to Mohammed, therefore Muslims consider the text to be eternal and inimitable as an account of the divine will of Allah.
What is Predestination?
It is the concept that Allah has knowledge of, and control over, everything that happens in the universe. Allah knows everything that will occur and has willed it, but humans still have free will to make choices. In which human will be judged by the choices we make.
What is the Greater Jihad?
The inner spiritual struggle to overcome selfish desires, aiming to live righteously and stay true to Islamic teachings, while striving for moral integrity.
What is the Islamic perspective on human free will with the will of Allah?
Any situation there are two predetermined outcomes, one in line with the will of Allah and one opposed to it. Humans are free to choose which path they take, but they are expected to take the path that aligns with the will of Allah.
