It’s a big building covered in black that was built by the Prophet Adam but later raised by the Prophet Abraham. It’s Islam’s holiest shrine and Muslims face towards it when praying.

It is the sacred text of Islam. Muslims believe it’s the word of Allah and it contains their moral codes and beliefs.

A statement of belief. There is only one God and Muhammad is his messenger.
What is the pillar of prayer about?
Muslims should pray 5 times a day, facing Mecca. Before praying, Muslims clean themselves in a practice called wudu. They use prayer mats to kneel on and recite parts of the Qur’an while performing a set of movements. This is known as ra’ka.

Muslims should share the wealth Allah has blessed them with by giving 2.5% of their yearly savings to charity.

During the month of Ramadan Muslims don’t eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. They pray more and focus on their faith.
