Can an Annual inspection take the place of a 100 Hour inspection? How about 100 Hour as Annual?
An Annual may take the place of a 100 Hour inspection
A 100 Hour inspection is not as in-depth as an Annual inspection and cannot be performed in place of one
When is a 100 Hour inspection required?
Only when the aircraft is used to carry passengers for hire or flight instruction (also for hire)
What the limitations regarding the 100 Hour inspection? Can you go over the 100 Hour?
A 100 Hour inspection may be exceeded by up to 10 hours while en route to have such an inspection performed
A 100 Hour inspection can be exceeded by a commercial operator if due to inadvertent weather/delay
A 100 Hour inspection may not be exceeded by a commercial operator KNOWING that the flight will exceed the 100 Hour limitation beforehand
Does Time Between Overhaul (TBO) apply to Part 91 operations? Part 135? Turbines?
TBO has an hour limitation as well as a calendar limitation
TBO is only a recommended time for Part 91 operators
Part 135 operators are required to follow the TBO set by the manufacturer, they can get extensions however
TBO is mandatory for turbine engines, regardless of Part 91, 121, 135, etc.
How often must a Transponder and Mode C be tested and recertified for VFR and IFR flight?
Every 24 Calendar Months
How often must the Altimeter and Static System be tested and recertified for IFR flight in controlled airspace?
Every 24 Calendar Months
How often is an ELT required to be inspected for flight?
Every 12 Calendar Months
When must an ELT’s battery be replaced to meet the requirements set forth in 91.207(c)?
After 1 CUMULATIVE HOUR of use

50% of useful life has expired
With respect to Airworthiness Directives (ADs), which ADs must be complied with for legal flight can occur?
All previous ADs must be complied with

What are the requirements regarding oxygen on board the aircraft? (not altitudes where Oxygen is required, before even taking off)
