What is a resin bonded restoration?

A

All ceramic, no substructure
Must be susceptible to etching
HF
Feldespathic ceramic- containing leucite
Lithium disilicate or equivalent

A

Refractory model

What are production problems?

A

1. Feather margins susceptible to fracture
2. Duplication of due in refractory material- may error
3. Sensitive refractory/ceramic compatibility
4. Removing refractory from restoration
5. Fitting restoration to original due and prepped tooth difficult- fragile
