Very stable in doped state –> 100 h in air at 100 degrees gives no change in conductivity
Used as:
- Photographic film Agfa - antistatic coating
- Electrode for solid electrolyte capacitor
FUTURE: Antistatic coating for cathode array tubes; corrosion protection; Hole injection layer in LEDs
Polyalinine
Solution and melt processible and forms good blends with polymers, such as polyethylene
What is the purpose of blending polyaniline?
Blends combine electrical and optical properties of polyalinine with mechanical properties of common bulk polymers
