-Fitness tests / medical examinations. -Field craft skills e.g. map reading.
-Leadership training
-naval general training
-weapon training
-ceremonial training
-physical training
-basic first aid.
-Basic seamanship, boat handling and navigation.
-Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and damage control training.
-Battlefield studies: Normandy, France.
-Four day assessed practical leadership exercise on Dartmoor.

Question 2

Phase 1.2

Marinisation 15 weeks application of skills from Phase 1 to a maritime environment
-Further leadership training and introduction to advanced planning in the form of Marine Tactical Estimate.
-Tuition: Strategic studies and Maritime operations.
-Extensive boat handling and nav training River Dart.
-3 week sea acquaint on a RN warship
-Critical thinking presentations and assessments
-4 day assessed maritime practical leadership exercise.
-Finally upon successful passing I will attend the passing out parade.

Question 3

Initial Pilot Training: Rotary or Fast Jet?

The course and length depends rotary or fast jet joint RAF/Army
-Initial pilot training starts RAF Barkston Heath with No3 FTS and 703 Naval Air Squadron on the Grob Prefect.
-Ability assessed at RNAS Yeoviliton 2 months.

Question 4

Rotary Training

Answer 4

For rotary: RAF Shawbury with No1 FTS and 705 Naval Air Squadron on a Juno helictoper. Maritime and Mountain flying training at RAF valley with the Jupiter. Then a MK2 Merlin 824 NAS at Culdrose or 825 NAS Wildcat or MK4 Merlin at Yeovilton with 846 Sqn.

Question 5

Fast Jet Training

Answer 5

-Begins at RAF valley with the Texan T1 basic fast jet training
-T2 Hawk weapons and tactics training
-207 OCU at RAF Marham to fly with 809 NAS F35-B.
