Discovered in caves in 1947 by a teenage shepherd who threw a rock into a cave and heard a clay jar shatter. They went to explore and found 2,000 year-old copies of the Hebrew Bible from about 150BC.

Inventor of the Printing Press. The first book ever printed was the Gutenberg Bible.

Translated the Bible from the Latin Vulgate to Middle English in the 1300s. His work was later completed later by others
Who was William Tyndale?

Translated the first English New Testament using the original Hebrew and Greek texts in the 1500s. He was later burned at the stake.

German preacher and religious reformer who who helped start the 16th-century Protestant Reformation.
