International Covenant on civil and Political Rights- turns things in the UDHR into an international enforceable agreement. imposes duties on those states that agree to it, to actively pursue the human rights articulated in it.

ICESCR

International Covenant on Economic, cultural and Social Rights- says that states must take steps towards these standards but they don’t enforce regulations or laws upon them. (weaker than the ICCPR)
