Adduction: is approximation the limb towards the body. Reversal of adduction is abduction. Flexion: is bending the joint to reduce the angle. Extension is return from flexion Rotation: is tilting the anterior aspect of the body parts. Usually takes place along the longitudinal axis of the body part.
