What are the different Grail steps to ingest data?
Ingest: Data ingested into Dynatrace is forwarded to Grail data Lakehouse
Process: Data is processed
Storage: Records are stored in buckets
Query: Dynatrace interface uses DQL to query data
What are the different types of Grial Buckets?
Built-in Buckets: created and managed by Dynatrace, starts with default_ or dt_system_
Custom Buckets: can be created using Dynatrace API, upto 80 buckets per env
What is Dynatrace Platform Subscription (DPS)?
Dynatrace Platform Subscription (DPS) is a licensing model where you make a minimum annual spend commitment (Annual Commit) at the platform level and then consume that commit based on actual usage and a straightforward rate card.
DPS lets you consume any service, only in case of overspent you will pay the on-demand charges.
