What is a species?
A group of animals or plants that are different from all other groups.
What impacts does the introduction of exotic species have on an ecosystem?
Increases population, introduces new illnesses, destroys agriculture and natural habitats, causes extinction of native plants/animals.

The last animal or plant of a species dies. No chance of revival.

A species with low population numbers which is likely to become extinct soon.

Why should we protect endangered species?
They are part of the food chain (like we are!), many medications are based on plants, fuel (from trees), produce clothing, the beauty of nature!!!
