Tell me about yourself
A
- I live in New York city, on the upper east side of Manhattan. I’ve always been from the New York City area.
- I love to exercise. I love running in Central Park which isn’t too far from me
- I love learning. I never stop learning. Its why I decided to go back and get my MBA. I’m brushing up on my python skills so I can get really into data visualization with python – Its just a hobby

Tell me about your professional life.
A
- I’ve spent 6 years in Product Management
- Today I’m a Senior Product Manager
- I manage a team of 3 product managers right now and act as an individual contributor
- I’ve worked within retail for both Macy’s and Gap Inc building data heavy complex products that help Gap and Macy’s determine
- Use sophisticated algorithms to make predictions about the customer – what is she going to do
- “How can we predict how much of a Gap T Shirt the customer is going to purchase at a store at a certain point in time”
- Demand forecast algorithm
- Reordering systems
- Why? So when the customer walks into a store like the Old Navy on 34th street, she finds what she wants.. which translates higher sales, fewer returns, higher profit margin, better customer experience

Who are your key stakeholders?
A
- Software engineering – to help us execute and build features that drive value
- UX Design – to help us build experiences that are not only usable but also aesthetically pleasing – delights the user
- Data Science – for help with measuring feature success and defining impactful KPIs
- Business Partners – from finance or inventory planning – to better understand the end user and end customer
- I have worked with Operations folks in the Distribution Centers and throughout the supply chain
