What is a Power Automate flow?
A Power Automate flow is a series of steps that are carried out by the application once a trigger is activitated; which can be automatic or manual.

The two main components of a flow are the trigger and the actions carried out once the trigger is activated.
What is a trigger in Power Automate?
A trigger in Power Automate is an initial condition that must be me in order for the actions of the flow to be carried out.
Examples would be a new email, IM message, or creation of a file in a drive.
How would you define the action(s) of a flow?
The actions of a flow would the steps that are executed once the trigger is initiated.
Examples would be sending of a message or email; or the appending of information to a file.
What is a programmed or periodical flow? How would you create one?
A programmed flow is one that is triggered on a regular basis, usually based on a date or time.
You create it by initiating as session in Power Automate, go to My Flows, New, and Programmed Cloud Flow.
What is an automated flow? How would you create one?
An automated flow is one that is triggered automatically with no manual intervention once a specified event or condition is met.
You would create one by goint to My Flows and selecting Automated Cloud Flow.
