Personal Morality
The end or consequences of an act determine where an act is good or bad
Ethical Philosophies
Judges morality of an action based on the actions adherence to rules and duties
Deontological
Being faithful to ones clients, employer and colleagues
Fidelity
Arise when it is clear what is morally right or wrong in a given situation
Compliance Issues
Occur when individuals do not agree with each other about what is morally required in particular situations
Moral Disagreements
When it is not clear what a specific moral value implies in a situation
Moral Vagueness
Situations in which two or more moral reasons come into conflict and it is not immediately obvious what should be done
Ethical/moral Dilemmas
Concerned with the good of the patient and focuses on rights, duties, relationships and behaviors between individuals
