What does an EEG measure?
It measures electrical activity on the surface of the brain, patterns of electrical activity link to certain states
What does a PET measure?
measures blood flow in regions of the brain, involves injecting a radioactive chemical into the blood.

measures the amount of oxygen in the blood in various brain areas.
What dos TMS measure?
temporarily disrupts brain activity in limited area.
