Intro Flashcards
first section
I have recently researched the issue of brexit and its impacts, I feel as though the brexit decision needs to have a reconsideration around it as only time will tell with the scale of how many major issues are arising due to it. With Brexit having its (not so obvious) benefits it undoubtedly has more downsides in comparison. In 2016, the majority decided to leave the EU, thus resulting in the UK doing so in January 2020. Due to this, Britain is unfortunately suffering from a cost of living crisis.
KU mark one
Simple everyday needs have increased in food shops by 27% in two years
Analysis point one
With a 27% influx within only two years, we can only see this getting worse. This will only push those out of the UK with everyday items becoming unaffordable.
KU mark two
With the majority of the UK being working
class citizens (48% according to the government website)
Analysis point two
the daily cost of living will start to spiral too high. Due to its many downsides, many have realised leaving the EU was a poor decision.
KU mark three
According to YouGov “As we approach the fourth anniversary of Brexit, 52% of Brits now believe leaving the EU was the wrong decision.”
Analysis mark three
This shows that over half of those living within the UK are now coming to a sense and realising leaving the EU was a mistake, having one to many negatives over positives will only lead to bad things for the uk.
