A

It’s easier to sneak in while they’re sleeping and pop in a sub cu butterfly, rather than reposition them

Why should you be careful that an ID med does not entr circulaiton?

A

Because such medications are potent, you inject them into the dermis, where blood supply is reduced and drug absorption occurs slowly.
A patient may have an anaphylactic reaction if the medications enter the circulation too rapidly.
