Name some features of CBT
o Structured, skill-based therapy. Upskilling on interactions between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and how they can make changes
o Strong emphasis on between-session homework
o Collaborative – therapeutic relationship is important
o Time limited, goal-oriented, regular monitoring. Not concerned with client history.
o Hypothesis testing approach. Formulation is key for forming/testing working hypotheses.
