When i had the intention to study abroad, i searching for information on online forums about studying in the US, where i read about this university. After that i went to a seminar of the university to know more about it. The seminar took place last year in HCMC on 21 May at 5h30 - 7h30 pm at Kim Do hotel

I choose uni of north alabama because it has a good ESL course for internation student, the quality of education is good. And the school fee is afoordable for my parent, also the entry level of the uni it is in within my ability

Why do you choose to study in the U.S?

Because the U.S has an excellent education system, the quality of teaching is good and to have a qualification from the US is highly valued in my country. So i choose to study in the US

Why do not you continue to learn in Vietnam?

Right now, in VN there are many students studying accounting like me. So my chance of finding an accounting job is very low, also the salary is bad. If i have an international degree and can speak EL. I’m sure i can find a good job in VN and i can go further in life

Why do you choose to study in the U.S not any more other country?

In the US, the quality of education is one of the best in the world with excellent facilities, resources and faculty. Also the US has more choice of course than other countries and has a lot more course flexibility than any where else

Why don’t you get any certificate of EL in VN before study in America?

In VN we learn a lot of theory and not much conversational practice and I know i can learn EL faster in the U.S than in VN

Which is the difference from the America education and VN education?

In VN, we often learn more theory than practice, but in the U.S they have a more rounded education. There are many methods of teaching and you learn many subjects before choosing your major

I have a big family in VN. Living near my family is very important for me, so i have to return. In VN i want to work… also i want to have a business in VN in the future(i don’t know yet)

Firstly, i brought my high chool transcripts to be translated. Secondly, i photocopies my passport. Thirdly, i asked parents give documentation to prove their finances. After that, i filled in the admission application. Finally i paid $100 application fee and i sent to the university all documents. Within 4 to 5 weeks the university sent I20 to me

The university has dormitories for international student so i will apply to live there. The cost for a shared dormitory is $ 1,324 per semester and is within my budget

Firstly i will study ESL course for one year to improve my EL. When my EL reaches the required level i will study for my degree for4 years. Finally i will return to VN to find a job in the far future. I want to set up a my own business

I did look at other universities such as: uni of Massachusetts, central washington uni, california state uni. All these uni have good standards of education but thr school fees are all a lot more expensive than the school fee of uni of north alabama

All my brothers and sisters are now married with their own families. I only have one younger sister still studying. Therefor my father only has to pay for 2 childrens.
