Airborn Precautions
Respiratory infections: TB, chickenpox, measles, SARS
HCWs wear PAPR (powered air purifying respirator)

fevers, chills, night sweats, chest pain
appetite loss, fatigue
Droplet precautions
Used for sicknesses with large particles that escape with cough: Flu, mumps, meningococcal diseases (whooping cough)
PPE: mask and gloves
