Block entrance and exits, clear pool, sound alarm, tanoe announcement, ask details about the child
Why would you begin to take action if the water clarity began to deteriorate?
As it can cause blind spots, and stops you from seeing to the bottom of the pool if someone at the bottom you couldn’t see
What action would you take if there was a power cut and the pool lighting failed outside of daylight hours?
Get everyone out of the pool straight away, get the manager, see how long lights off and give credits to customers
What are the risks associated with a toxic gas emissions or chemicals spills?
Burns, deprived of oxygen, toxic gas.
What is an arm support tow?
It’s where you grasp there arm from behind the back and elevate there shoulders and head by positioning your forearm across their back
What is a hip support tow?
Put your arm under the casualties arm and grasp them around the waist support them with your hip and perform side stroke
What is a under shoulder support tow?
Grasp the faulty around the chest and place your shoulder under there armpit, keep the side of your face close to the casualties back swim using side stroke
