Copper cable
Slow with speeds of 300mbps. Poor storage and lower bandwidth. More likely to suffer from attenuation. Cheap and malleable.
Optical fibre cable
Fastest connection speeds of 10gbps. Can reach a range of 100km and stores data and allows higher bandwidth. Expensive and fragile.
Satellite
Have a large distance so have delays and are slow. Largest range of 45000 miles. Large storage due to being connected to multiple devices and transferring a lot of data.
Microwave
Average speed of 3gbps.Towers must be in line of sight of eachother. Not large storage capacity.
Mobile data
Connects to cell towers with s 25 mile range. Has bandwidth of around 100mbps.
Bluetooth
Short range communication of devices with limit of 10m between eachother. Close proximity is a disadvantage but requires no other hardware.
