Q

AA interactions

A

Smoking –decreased plasma level of clozapine and olanzapine by 20-100% due to induction of metabolism (1A2)

Fluoxetine-paroxetine-fluvoxamine-sertraline: increased plasma level of antipsychotic 76%

increase clozapine with fluoxetine, 2-7 fold and 40-50% increase with paroxetine or sertraline

Grapefruit juice-increased plasma level of quetiapine due to inhibition of metabolism via CYP 3A4, data contradictory with Clozapine
