What is copyrights? and how long do they usually last?

- Is protection of original and creative works of a person or organisation.
- Is valid during the author’s life plus 70 years after they have died.

What is Trademarks?
A
- Are words or symbols that is registered legally to an organisation and is used to identify the organisation.
- Has to be renewed every 10 years.

What are patents?
A
- Signifies ownership of an invention for a limited amount of time.
- Lasts for 20 years beyond the patent’s filing date.

A
- Novel - new idea.
- useful.
- Non-obvious(some inventive work is involved).
