- Input

What happens in Input?
A
- Data is provided into a computer.
- This can be done by generating data from peripherals; such as mouse clicking from a mouse or keyboard.

What happens in storage?
A
Data is saved either:
* Temporarily in RAM.
* Permanently in devices such as HDD, SSD or cloud storage.

What happens in processing? And where does it happen?
A
- Data is analyzed and is turned into useful information, also calculations are conducted.
- Processing usually occurs in the CPU.

What happens in Output?
A
- Information is simply reported and displaying the results of processing.
- Can be generated in a monitor or paper record from a printer.
