Actinic Keratosis
A premalignant warty lesion occuring on the sun exposed skin of the face or hands in aged light skinned people
Basal Cell Carcinoma
A slow growing malignant neoplasm
Debridement
Removal of foreign materials, necrotic matter and devitalized tissue from a wound or burn
Decubitus ulcer
Injury to skin and underlying tissue resulting from prolonged pressure on the skin.
Dermabrasion
Procedure to remove acne scars or pits, performed with sandpaper or other abrasive materials
Dermatofibroma
Small, harmless lumps that appear on the skin
Dermatome
An instrument for cutting thin slices of skin for grafting or excising small lesions

Dyplastic nevus
Cutaneous pigmented lesions with notched and irregular borders (Atypical moles)
Eschar
A thick crusty covering or slough that develops after thermal or chemical burn or cauterization of the skin
Gynecomastia
Excessive development of the male mammary glands
Impetigo
Common bacterial skin infection that spreads easily.
Lumpectomy
Surgical removal of a tumor or other lump from the breast along with some surrounding tissue, conserving normal breast appearance
Mammoplasty
Altering the breast size by enlarging or reducing the breasts
Mastectomy
Surgical removal of one or both breasts
