1. Look at fluid congestion (venous or lymph). Delineate the drainage pathway for that area
2. Nervous system: delineate the innervation for that area
3. Biomechanical: delineate local and regional biomechanical concerns that may impact the pt’s problems.
4. Relevant visceral concerns: delineate the innervation / vascular/ lymphatic elements.
