  1. take SU’s w/breakfast, EXCEPT GLIPIZIDE IR* (take 30 min before meals)
  2. take meglitinides within 30 min before meals. DO NOT TAKE IF SKIPPING THE MEAL (SKIP DOSE IF SKIP MEAL)
  3. can cause hypOglycemia and weight gain*
