What factors decrease insulin requirements
- physical activity
- reduced food intake
- impaired renal function
- endocrine disorders

because insulin is inactivated bu GI enzymes

- Buttocks
What are the 2 types of Short acting Insulin
- Soluble
- Rapid

15 to 30 mins before

immediately

30 to 60 minute onset

<15 minutes
