What effect will altitude have on indicated airspeed?
A
Higher up you go, indicated airspeed will be lower than actual airspeed. Every 1000ft up, increase IAS by 2 percent

A
The rate of change of air pressure.

What does a total energy probe do?
A
It cancels out the changes in altitude caused by changing speed, leaving just the effect of the rising air.
