In individual sessions , the trainer should ….
Uncover reasons for the session
Previous history ( health, training methods, breeding )
Give initial steps and build up owner confidence, with care not to overload the client
Discuss in understandable language
Discuss achievable goals
Provide realistic training expectations , short term and long term

Ensure client understands the information before session ends, to help with compliance
Suggest follow up timeline and ideally book in at end of session
