Q

What are inorganic ions?

A
  • an ion that doesn’t contain carbon
  • ions that occur in solution in the cytoplasm and body fluids of organisms, some in high concentrations and others in very low concentrations (depends on its role)
  • Each has a specific role depending on its properties
  • Positive = cation
  • negative = anion
