Ingersol Flashcards
Where is staging 1? Where is staging 2?
The first transfer pallet behind the tool changer.
Behind stage 1
What do you do when you see this?
Turn on “AUX PEND ACTIVE”
What do you put in MDI in order to remove a tool and not put anything in the spindle head?
- T0 INSERT - M06 INSERT Reset Cycle Start
What do you put into MDI in order to bring spindle to opporator to change tool?
- TC
INSERT
RESET
Cycle Start
What codes are unique to H18, 3 and 2? What do they do?
Unld_np and Ld_np
Moves the main staging back and forth with no pallet
What does this Valve do? What should you always be cautious of?
- Releases the air pressure held in the machine.
- The air pressure shooting from the top. Wear safety glasses and ear protection!
How do you turn off and purge the air pressure from the Ingersol?
Turn off main air and 1/4 turn the air valve and to purge.
What Hydraulic Oil do you put into the main hydraulic system?
46
What is this?
Air Drive Air Pressure Amplifier
What are Air Driven Air Pressure Ampifiers used for?
To boost the inlet pressure to a high pressure.
What is allowed to be accepted as inlet pressure?
Up to 150 psi
Is the tilt up piston suppose to be out or in when loading a pallet?
Out
When loading a pallet manually onto the shuttle, if you go too far to the other end what happens?
Solution?
- The PLC will think the pallet is being uloaded onto the other side. The chain will stop and not be able to be moved. The pallet piston lock will alarm out.
- Bring down the chain. Move the pallet by prybar. Activate the center shot pin. And retract side pallet locks. Then enter the palets position in the computer.
How do you update the pex machines position in the computer?
Go into Cell Maint. Find the pallet you need in the shuttle. DELETE ITS PALLET FIRST (you cannot have a valve in the pallet and shuttle at the same time). Replace with 0 (Means nothing is there). Then enter the pallet number on the pex (cart 12).
What are the basic sections of the Air Driven Air Pressure Amplifier?
What do they do?
- Drive Section (Provides the reciprocating force to the boost)
- Boost Section ( Provides the compressing action for high pressure output)
- Cycling Section ( Consists of the DCV built into the drive enabling the drive to reciprocate continuously whenever air is applied to the drive
