Complications of IE
A
Emboli (vegetation) if in the R chamber it can go to the lungs and cause dyspnea.
L chamber may travel anywhere in the arteries, reaching the spleen, kidneys, brain, lungs, or extremities.
Comes from infections of IV drug users
