What is an aspergilloma?
A mass like fungus ball that colonises an existing lung cavity
What is bacterial vaginosis?
Describes an overgrowth of predominantly anaerobic organisms such as Gardnerella vaginalis –> lactic acid production producing aerobic lactobacilli
Which bacteria are gram postive cocci?
Staphylococci + streptococci
Which bacteria are gram positive bacilli?
ABCD L (Actinomyces, bacillus anthraces, clostridium, diphtheria, listeria)
Which bacteria are gram negative cocci?
Neisserias + moraxella
How is C diff managed?
Metronidazole –> oral vanc
