what kind of precautions will meningitis have?

standard precautions
contact with blood, body fluids, non-intact skin, and mucous membranes from all clients
Airborne precautions and examples
requires N-95 mask or HEPA respirator and place the pnt in a neg airflow room
TB, Measles, shingles, chickenpox
droplet precautions and examples
standard mask if in close contact
meningitis, rubella, influenza, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough)
contact precautions and examples
gloves and gown when in contact with client and environmental surfaces
c.diff, rotavirus, hep A, shingles, chicken pox (yes, its also an airborne thing), MRSA
TB and what size bumps are okay or not
if a person had 5mm bump, you first gotta check if they are immunocompromised because if they are, this would mean a positive result. A person who is not immunocompromised, a 5mm bump would mean it is negative.
