Droplet precautions
They are implemented for infectious diseases that are transmitted by a particle droplet in trouble only short distances from the infected person susceptible mandating facial protection example influenza, pharyngitis, streptococcal and meningitis

Contact precautions are essential for preventing the spread of enteric infections the patient should be in a private room
Steps to remove PPE
1) gloves
2) face/ eye
3) gown
4) mask/ respirator
Fluid volume deficit
Is the loss of both water and electrolyte from the extracellular fluid. Also called hypovolemia
