Focuses on providing wide range of pre flight and inboard services

Focuses on cost reduction in order to implement price leadership strategy on market it serves

Commuter or feeder airlines
Use smaller aircraft, with 20-200 seats.
Restrict routes to geographically limited areas.
What are charter companies?
Private, scheduled to meet needs of specific passengers or organisations.
What are cargo carriers?
Focuses on cargo/freight operation
Work closely with freight forwarders
What are hub airports?
Gateway to multiple destinations. Allows passengers to transfer to connecting flights to their final destination.
