the increase in Agricultural production. Considered one of the causes of the industrial revolution

An invention in the agricultural revolution that uses different crops each season to not dry out the fertile soil and to get produce more efficiently.
why did the IR start in Britain?
1, because they had access to resources like coal and iron providing energy for machines.
2, they had previous inventions that helped them. Like the cotton industry.

A small manafaturing base usally run by a familly or a large mass production base.

Henry Cort was the man who found how to use pig iron and turn it into wrought Iron.
Socialism
Socialist movements rejected laissez-faire capitalism and blamed it and the industrial revolution for horrible working and living conditions.

Created the water frame and was able to build textile machines and make them work properly.

Made to protect workers from unsafe working conditions , and excessive working hours.
