In the area of transportation- Transportation advanced to trains and to high speed trains
In the area of agriculture- It introduced new methods of farming
In the area of the textile industry- The population increase demanded for more resources like clothing
How did the industrial revolution change Agriculture?
Before the industrial revolution most Europeans worked & lived on small farming villages using inefficient methods of farming like relying on medieval & inefficient three-field system. As a result, the food that was produced kept the population of Europe growing rapidly so in the mid 1700’s new farming techniques led to an Agricultural Revolution in Europe.
The enclosure movement
New crops like corn & potatoes were introduced
As a result of the agricultural revolution, more food was made and the population of Europe began to increase swiftly
How did the industrial revolution change the Textile Industry?
The population boom that was caused by the agricultural revolution created a demand for clothing but traditional methods of textile were slow.
As a result the textile industry became the first industry to become industrialised.
With the invention of the spinning Jenny and the power loom, the textile industry took off and clothes could now be made faster than ever before

The first two major railroad companies were the Union Pacific and central pacific railroads

The industrial revolution led to a population increase, but the chance of surviving childhood didn’t improve even though everything else was improving.
Living conditions were terrible
Appalling Medical Care
Easy transmission of infectious diseases
These cons made it almost impossible for a child to survive during these days.
